Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

314 Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Inventr mobile application for Android and iOS, the website consignment.314-apps.com, and related services (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account and data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Account information: your email address and sign-in credentials, managed through Firebase Authentication.
Referral payout information: a unique referral code for your account, any referral code you enter, and (if you opt in) your Venmo username so we can send referral rewards. Venmo usernames are stored only on our servers for payouts and are not sent to analytics.
Business inventory data: items, descriptions, photos, costs, prices, sale records, tags, storage locations, booth/seller details, and notes you enter.
AI scan content: when you use AI scan to draft a listing, the item photos you scan and any item details you type for that scan are sent to OpenAI to generate the draft. AI scan is optional — nothing is sent to OpenAI unless you use it.
Team information: email addresses you invite to your team and membership records.
Support communications: messages you send us through in-app support or email.

2.2 Information collected automatically

App analytics: feature usage events, session information, device model and OS version, app version, and crash/diagnostic data, collected via PostHog.
Website analytics: page URLs, referrer, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected via PostHog on our website.
Server logs: API request logs (timestamps, IP addresses, request metadata) retained for security and operations.

2.3 Payment and subscription information

Subscription payments are processed entirely by Google Play (on Android) or the Apple App Store (on iOS). We never receive your full payment card number. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; we and RevenueCat receive purchase status, product identifiers, and renewal information only.

3. How We Use Information

Operate the Services: sync your inventory across devices and with your team.
Create and secure your account, and authenticate sign-ins.
Process and manage your subscription and entitlements.
Pay referral rewards via Venmo using the username you choose to provide.
Provide customer support and respond to requests.
Understand feature usage to improve the app, and diagnose crashes and bugs.
Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data only with the service providers that operate parts of the Services on our behalf:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction (with notice where legally required).

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app, our servers, and our service providers. Authentication tokens are stored in secure storage on your device (EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android, Keychain on iOS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

Account and inventory data: retained while your account is active, and permanently deleted when you delete your account (see Section 7).
Referral reward ledger: opaque user ids, amounts, and paid/void status may be retained as accounting records after account deletion. Venmo usernames stored on the account are deleted with the account.
Server logs: automatically expire on a rolling basis (up to 90 days).
Purchase records: retained by Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat under their own policies for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Analytics events: retained in aggregate; no longer linkable to you after account deletion.

7. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your Inventr account and associated data at any time:

In the app: Settings → Delete Account → confirm with your password. Deletion starts immediately.
On the web (no app needed): follow the steps at consignment.314-apps.com/delete-account.html, or email 314Apps@gmail.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my Inventr account". Requests are completed within 30 days.

Deletion permanently removes your account record (email and credentials), Venmo username and referral code lookup, inventory items, item photos, team and booth memberships, support messages, and usage counters. Referral reward ledger rows (opaque identifiers and amounts) may be retained as accounting records. Purchase records held by Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat are retained by those providers as described above. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel first in Google Play or your Apple ID subscription settings.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Access, edit, and delete your inventory data at any time in the app.
Delete your account and data (Section 7), or request a copy of your data by emailing us.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play or Apple ID settings.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise them.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have different data-protection laws than your country; we take reasonable measures to ensure your information receives adequate protection.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, and correct personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law. To exercise these rights, use the deletion methods in Section 7 or contact us below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date; material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
